Transplanting.....Again

Packing....moving.....unpacking.....new hometown......new job...o  BOY!

So many wonderful changes!!

I LOVE the people!   I was more comfortable than a long time in the room full of staff, faculty, and administrators this morning, even though I didn't know them.  Their quirky, corny sense of humor, eccentricities, and passion were all familiar without having officially met them yet.  It kind of felt like being amongst my own kind! LOL

Some things stay the same......like forgetting I changed my key ring and taking the wrong one with me to a meeting and forgetting until 10pm.....and having to be taught how to break into my apartment by another staff member....we only messed up two crank mechanisms in the process.....ARGH!!!!!

Still not unpacked.   Need my furniture.   Want a piano.  Badly.

I have eaten the same thing for 3 days.  O the joy of singleness.  Hillary needs to get here with that studfinder.......har har.   Bad joke.  However, I really do need to figure out some bathroom shelving so it isn't all vanity....sorry another bad pun.

Now, to prep for the morrow and unpack a bit more!

I WON!!!!!

I am never lucky when it comes to winning stuff (or at least I have a pretty solid non-winning track record for most of my life).  BUT!!  I won the random drawing for a $100 gift certificate for a tattoo! SWEET!!  I know I am FAR more excited about it than my mom......but I did promise her no sleeves :)
